Hello and welcome to my home page. My name is Kevin Lekas I am one of the entertainments here at Rent-A-DJ. I have been in the pro-sound and music industry for over 14 years. I began my career as a sound engineer but now consider myself an entertainment specialist. I have been entertaining at all types of events for the past 11 years and truly know how to host a GREAT party. I still get the opportunity to engineer several live events every year which I truly enjoy. I am a Northern California native who has been residing in S.E. Michigan since 2002. What is up with this white stuff in the winter? I call it Michigan sand. (I am originally from California)

I promise to give you the best personal service possible. I specialize in creating the "ta-da" moment. Our motto is "Your Event Is Our Priority" but I like to take it one step further, your event is "MY" priority. I treat each and every couple that hires me as if they were apart of my own family. Rest assured, I am into each and every detail. I will do my absolute best to give you the wedding you have dreamed of.

Here is a little history about me. I am a full time entertainer and have a career in television and public speaking. Even though I am very comfortable at all types of events, my specialty is weddings. I truly enjoy seeing people have a good time celebrating one of the most important days of their lives with their family and friends.

Upon arriving in the Metro Detroit area, I went to work for one of the DJ services in the area. This gave me the opportunity to get to know the people, the facilities, and the traditions of the area. This allowed me to understand how to have a great party here in Michigan as well. After being here for 3 years, we naturally began to make friends and acquaintances. These are the people who inspired us to begin Rent-A-DJ the fall of 2004 here in Michigan.

During our 1st full year, Rent-A-DJ performed at over 60 events. For 2006 Rent-A-DJ was apart of over 80 events. We are now seeing repeat business from our clients and their families and friends. We are truly excited and blessed to be given this opportunity. We look forward to 2007 and all the excitement it has to offer. We have expanded our staff to meet the overwhelming popularity Rent-A-DJ has created. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
